Function Description

The HAYLOU X1 Pro earbuds are primarily designed for wireless audio playback and hands-free communication. They feature Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) to reduce ambient noise, allowing for a more focused listening experience. The earbuds can operate in both stereo and mono modes, offering flexibility depending on your preference or situation. A low latency mode is also available, which is particularly useful for gaming or watching videos to ensure synchronized audio and visuals. The integrated microphones facilitate clear voice calls and allow for interaction with your device's voice assistant.

Usage Features

Wearing the Earbuds:

To ensure the best fit and sound quality, it's recommended to adjust the earbuds to fit comfortably in your ears. When making calls, you should adjust Mic 1 towards your mouth to optimize talking experience and ensure your voice is picked up clearly.

Charging the Earbuds and Case:

Before the first use, it's essential to fully charge both the charging case and the earbuds. The charging process is straightforward: insert the provided Type-C charging cable into the charging port on the case. The earbuds themselves charge when placed inside the case. During charging, the earbuds' indicator light will show a solid red. Once fully charged, this light will turn solid white for 60 seconds and then turn off, indicating completion.

Battery Indicator of Charging Case:

The charging case provides visual cues about its battery level:

High Power (≥70%): When you open the charging case, the LED will flash white three times.
Medium Power (30% ≤ power < 70%): Opening the case will cause the LED to flash red and white three times simultaneously.
Low Power (0% < power < 30%): The LED will flash red twice for five cycles when the case is opened.

Powering On/Off:

Power-on: If the earbuds are in the charging case, simply opening the lid will power them on. If the earbuds are outside the case and in a powered-off state, a long press of the Multi-Function Button (MFB) for approximately 1.5 seconds will power them on. The LED will glow white for 1 second to confirm.
Power-off: To power off the earbuds, place them back into the charging case and close the lid. They will automatically power off.

Connecting to a Device:

To connect the HAYLOU X1 Pro earbuds to your device, take both earbuds out of the case simultaneously. Then, open the Bluetooth settings on your device, search for "Haylou X1 Pro," and select it to connect. If the connection fails, place the earbuds back into the case and try again. Once successfully paired, the earbuds will automatically re-connect to the last-paired device whenever they are powered on, provided Bluetooth is enabled on your device.

Switching Between Mono and Stereo Mode:

The earbuds offer flexibility in how you listen:

Stereo Mode: Pick up both earbuds from the case to automatically enter stereo mode, providing a rich, two-channel audio experience.
Mono Mode: If you only pick up one earbud, or if you put one earbud back into the case while listening in stereo, the remaining earbud will switch to mono mode. You can resume stereo mode by picking up the second earbud again.

Manual Connection:

If the earbuds are turned off, you can manually power them on. Wait 2-3 seconds for the earbuds to connect with each other. Once the indicator lights on both earbuds flash white slowly, you can turn on your device's Bluetooth and connect.

Controlling Playback and Calls:

The Multi-Function Button (MFB) on the earbuds allows for various controls:

Play/Pause Music: Click the MFB button.
Answer Call: Click the MFB button.
Skip Track Backward: Double-click the MFB button on the left earbud (L).
Skip Track Forward: Double-click the MFB button on the right earbud (R).
Switch ANC Mode: Long press the MFB button for approximately 4 seconds. This allows you to cycle through different noise cancellation modes (e.g., ANC on, Transparency mode, ANC off).
Turn On/Off Low Latency Mode (when standby): Triple-click the MFB button on the right earbud (R).
Summon Voice Assistant (when standby): Triple-click the MFB button on the left earbud (L).

Factory Setting:

If you encounter connection issues or abnormal behavior, you can reset the earbuds to factory settings. With the earbuds in the charging case and the case having power, long press the charging case button for 10 seconds. This will automatically reset the earbuds and clear all previous connection records between the earbuds and any devices. If the reset operation fails, repeat the steps or refer to the official store for a reset operation video.

Troubleshooting Audio Output:

If audio only outputs from a single earbud, it's recommended to perform a factory reset on the earbuds, remove any connectivity records for the device on your phone, and then re-connect.

Troubleshooting Charging Problems:

White LED turns off after 1 minute: This indicates that your earbuds are fully charged.
Earbuds not charging: Ensure the charging case itself has sufficient power. Earbuds will not charge if the case is out of power.
LED on case not turning on when charging: If the case's LED doesn't illuminate during charging, it might mean the case is already fully charged, and thus the light does not turn on.

Maintenance Features

General Care and Precautions:

Disassembly and Modification: Do not disassemble, repair, or modify the product for any reason. Unauthorized alterations can lead to fire or complete destruction of the product.
