How to fix Hayward Swimming Pool Vacuum that doesn't cover the entire pool?
    • V
      vnicholsAug 23, 2025
If your Hayward Swimming Pool Vacuum isn't covering the entire pool, start by cleaning the debris compartment, as a full compartment can hinder performance. Ensure the filter compartment is clean and that the robot is fully charged (6 hours). Water circulation from the filtration system can interfere with movement, so turn off the filtration system at least 15 minutes before operation. Check the wheels for any obstructions and remove any debris. For round pools, ensure bumpers are installed correctly. If the rake/brush is deformed, straighten them under sunlight or replace them. Adjust the tube setting according to instructions. Algae can make the pool floor slippery, so scrub the pool bottom and robot wheels.

Flush the screen with water, using a soft brush if necessary. * The rake/brush is deformed. Expose them to sunlight to straighten, or replace them. Try using only one rake or brush. * The impeller is jammed. Power off the robot and inspect the impeller for debris. Contact your dealer if needed, and ensure the robot is off during servicing.

Why Hayward AquaVac 250 Swimming Pool Vacuum stopped in the middle of the pool?
    • R
      Richard WardAug 27, 2025
If your Hayward Swimming Pool Vacuum stops moving in the middle of the pool but the swivel head is still turning, it could be due to an obstruction or suction from the main drain. Check for any obstacles or large creases in the pool liner that may be blocking the cleaner and remove them. Alternatively, the robot may be stopped by suction from the main drain; in this case, turn off the filtration system.
