  If your Healthrider Treadmill isn't turning on, here's what you can do: 1. Ensure the power cord is properly plugged into a surge suppressor, and the surge suppressor is connected to a grounded outlet. Use a surge suppressor meeting specific requirements. 2. Verify the key is fully inserted into the console after plugging in the power cord. 3. Check the reset/off circuit breaker on the treadmill frame near the power cord. If the switch is protruding, the breaker has tripped. Reset it by waiting five minutes, then press the switch to the reset position.

Repeat adjustments as needed, being careful not to overtighten the belt. * If the belt slips, unplug the treadmill. Tighten both idler roller bolts clockwise 1/4 turn. The belt should allow you to lift each edge 3-4 inches off the platform when properly tightened. Plug the treadmill back in, walk on it carefully, and repeat until the slipping stops.
