Do you have a question about the Heat-N-Glo CFX-DA and is the answer not in the manual?

Overview

The device is a Heat-N-Glo CFX-DA direct vent gas fireplace heater, designed for residential use. It operates by siphoning all combustion air from outside the building and expelling all exhaust gases to the outside, ensuring clean indoor air. This model is certified by Underwriters Laboratories and conforms to ANSI Z21.50・CGA2.22 standards.

Function Description:

The CFX-DA is a gas-fired heating appliance that provides warmth and aesthetic appeal through a visible flame. It utilizes an Intermittent Pilot Ignition (IPI) gas control system, which includes a 3V control valve, an electronic module, and a spark ignitor/flame sensor. The unit is designed to operate from a wall switch or a remote control, offering convenient operation. Combustion air is supplied via an AK-CFX outside air kit, which can extend up to 40 feet from the fireplace to the inlet cap. The exhaust gases are vented directly to the outside through a D-Series direct vent system, which can be configured with various components like vertical and horizontal pipes, elbows, and termination caps.
