The Heatmiser neoStat WiFi is a programmable room thermostat that functions as both a programmer and a room thermostat, allowing users to set "On" and "Off" periods for heating to suit their lifestyle. It senses air temperature, switching on heating when the temperature falls below the set point and switching it off once the desired temperature is reached. This enables users to choose specific times for heating and desired temperatures at different times of the day and days of the week, catering to particular needs and preferences.

Key Features and Specifications:

• Programmable Functionality: The neoStat WiFi offers three program modes: Weekday/Weekend (5/2), 7 Day Programming, and 24 Hour Programming. It can also be used as a Non-Programmable thermostat.
  • Weekday/Weekend (5/2): Allows programming 4 on/off switching times for weekdays and 4 for the weekend.
  • 7 Day Program Mode: Each day has 4 on/off switching times that can be programmed independently.
  • 24 Hour Mode: All days are programmed with the same on/off switching times.
• Temperature Control:
  • Temperature Display: Can be configured for different sensor options: built-in air sensor, floor sensor, or both. The display will indicate whether "Room Temp" or "Floor Temp" is being shown.
  • Comfort Levels: Supplied with pre-programmed comfort levels (e.g., 07:00 - 21°C (Wake), 09:00 - 16°C (Leave), 16:00 - 21°C (Return), 22:00 - 16°C (Sleep)), which can be easily changed. Users can program unused levels to "---".
  • Temperature Hold: Allows manual override of the current operating program to set a different temperature for a desired period. The display shows "HOLD LEFT" and the remaining hold time.
• Connectivity:
  • WiFi Network: Connects to the home WiFi network, enabling full control of the heating system via the Heatmiser neoApp on a smartphone or tablet.
  • Apple HomeKit Support: Can be paired with Apple HomeKit via the neoApp, allowing for integration with HomeKit automations and Siri voice control.
• Sensors:
  • Built-in Air Sensor: Default sensor for room temperature.
  • Floor Sensor (Optional): Can be used alone or in conjunction with the air sensor, particularly useful for floor heating systems to prevent overheating.
  • Remote Air Sensor (Optional): An alternative to the built-in sensor.
  • Approach Sensor: Uses proximity detection to light up the touch keys and display when a user is near, useful for adjustments in dark rooms.
• Display and Interface:

• Safety and Protection:
  • Frost Protection: When enabled, the thermostat maintains a minimum temperature (default 12°C, configurable 7-17°C) to prevent pipes from freezing. The frost icon and flame symbol are displayed when active.
  • Keypad Lock: A 4-digit PIN can be set to lock/unlock the thermostat, preventing unauthorized changes.
  • Holiday Mode: Reduces the set temperature to the frost protection temperature for a specified duration, automatically returning to the normal program afterward.
• Installation:
  • Designed for flush mounting and requires a back box of 35mm (minimum depth) to be sunk into the wall.
  • Installation must be carried out by a qualified electrician and comply with local installation regulations.
  • Wiring diagrams are provided for connection to Boiler S/L, Boiler Voltfree, Valve, and UH8 with optional remote probe connections.
• Maintenance and Troubleshooting:
  • Re-calibrating the Thermostat: Allows users to adjust the displayed temperature if it's inaccurate.
  • WiFi Reset: Steps are provided to reset the WiFi and re-enable the WiFi hotspot.
  • Factory Reset: Resets the device to factory default settings, canceling all entered parameters and pairing operations.
  • Error Codes: Displays specific codes (E0, E1, E2) to indicate faults with internal, remote floor, or remote air sensors.
• Optional Settings (Features 01-13):
  • Feature 01 - Pairing To neoApp: Connects the thermostat to the neoApp.
  • Feature 02 - Switching Differential: Adjusts the temperature difference (default 1°C) that triggers heating on/off.
  • Feature 03 - Frost Protect Temperature: Sets the temperature maintained in Frost Mode (default 12°C).
  • Feature 04 - Output Delay: Prevents rapid switching, with a configurable delay (0-15 minutes, default 00).
  • Feature 05 - Temperature Up/Down Limit: Limits the use of up and down temperature arrow keys, providing limited control over the heating system.
  • Feature 06 - Sensor Selection: Chooses which sensor to use (Built-in, Remote Air, Floor Only, Built-in & Floor, Remote Air & Floor).
  • Feature 07 - Floor Temp Limit: Sets a floor limiting temperature (20-45°C, default 28°C) when a floor sensor is used.
  • Feature 08 - Optimum Start: Delays the start of the heating system to reach the programmed temperature at the latest possible moment, avoiding unnecessary heating.
  • Feature 09 - Rate of Change: Number of minutes for a 1°C temperature rise.
  • Feature 10 & 11: Not used on this model.
  • Feature 12 - Program Mode: Selects between Non-Programmable, Weekday/Weekend, 7 Day, or 24 Hour programming.
  • Feature 13 - Temperature Format: Selects between °C or °F.
