MAINTENANCE
CLEANING THE BACKPACK SPRAYER
(CARRIED OUT AFTER EACH USE)
1. Press the trigger on the sprayer handle to release the pressure remaining through the lance.
2. Unscrew tank cap (fig. 12A), if the outside of the cap is dirty, thoroughly clean the area
around the thread and thread O-ring.
3. Clean the inlet filter (fig. 13A) and tank cap in clean water.
4. Empty the tank and fill with clean water (with detergent added to the water necessary.
5. Spray the water out of the backpack sprayer until the tank is empty. This cleans the nozzle
and valves.
6. Leave the backpack sprayer open and allow it to dry.
CLEANING THE FILTER IN THE SPRAYER HANDLE
1. Unscrew the thread with sleeve nut of fixing of the hose (fig. 14A) and with a sieve of
the filter (fig. 14B) from the pipe handle of manual valve.
2. Rinse the filter under running water and do the assembly in reverse order.
CLEANING THE PUMP
If the pump does not provide pressure after cleaning your backpack sprayer you must also clean
of the pump.
1. Remove the safety lock (fig. 15A) at the end of the driving rod and disconnect the rod from
the pump piston.
2. Unscrew the union ring (fig. 15B) of piston and pull out the pump (fig. 16).
3. Inspect the pump O-ring and install a new O-ring if necessary.
4. Pull out the inner part of the pump and the gasket.
5. Clean all pump parts and gaskets with water (and detergent)
6. Reassemble the pump in the reserve order.
7. When assembling the pump ensure that the pump gaskets are seated properly after
installation and are not squashed.
TROUBLESHOOTING
