BLADE DECK UP / DOWN LEVER

Lifts or lowers the blade deck and thereby adjust the grass cutting height. Squeeze adjuster lever
toward the wheel, moving up or down to selected lift height.

If lever is engaged without observing safety conditions, the engine switches off if it is running or
else cannot be started.
A brake is simultaneously activated which stops their rotation within a few seconds.
KEY IGNITION SWITCH
(fig. 23A)
This key operated control has three positions:
“START” - connects the starter motor
“ON” - activates all parts
“STOP” - everything is switched off
If you release the key on «START», it will automatically return to «ON.
THROTTLE LEVER
(fig. 24A)
This regulates the engine‘s r.p.m. The positions are indicated on a plate showing the following
symbols:
“I-I” - CHOKE - cold starting
“I/I” - SLOW - for minimum engine speed
“-” - FAST - for maximum engine speed
The «CHOKE» position enriches the mixture so must only be used for the time necessary
when starting from cold.
When moving from one area to another, put the lever in a position between «SLOW» and
«FAST».
When cutting, shift into «FAST».
