Ported Mode
This is the default operating mode. The bass reex ports are open and allow for a powerful
low-end reproduction. This operation mode allows for a higher eciency and while
maintaining access to lower bass regions.
Closed Mode
In closed mode the HEDD MK2 speaker functions as an innite bae speaker. This results
in a cleaner sound and increased resolution. However, a 6-10 dB reduction in maximum
sound pressure level (depending on the audio material) for low frequencies is the
consequence.
