Presetting on any axis
HEIDENHAIN only gives warranty for the function of the
probing cycles if HEIDENHAIN touch probes are used.
Select the probing function by pressing the
POSITION PROBING soft key
Move the touch probe to a position near the
touch point
Select the axis and probing direction, e.g. Probe
in direction Z-
Probe: Press the NC Start key
Preset: Enter the nominal coordinate
Apply with the SET PRESET soft key

To terminate the probe function, press the END
