Do you have a question about the HELIX A4 Competition and is the answer not in the manual?
Connects to the automatic antenna output of the head unit for amplifier activation.
Connect the +12 V power cable to the positive terminal of the battery, minimum 16mm_ cross section.
Connect to a central ground reference point or a cleaned bare-metal chassis location.
Input fuses protect against internal faults; system requires additional line fuse near battery.
LED indicates fuse malfunction; illuminates when blown, off when normal.
Selects mono signal bridging on channels C and D, or individual drive.
RCA connectors for linking head unit or pre-amplifier outputs.
Match input sensitivity of channels to head unit output voltage (700 mV to 8 V).
LEDs indicate operation mode: green (operation), yellow (malfunction), red (overheating).
Selects internal active crossover to highpass, full range, or lowpass for channels A and B.
Selects internal active crossover to highpass, full range, or lowpass for channels C and D.
Adjusts control range for level adjustment (15 Hz-90 Hz, 90 Hz-800 Hz, 600 Hz-7 kHz).
Adjusts crossover frequency for stereo channels A/B (22) and C/D (23).
Connect loudspeakers for channels A and B.
Connect loudspeakers for channels C and D.
Raises center frequency 0-9 dB when switch 19 is on HP or LP.
Selects center frequency from 30-120 Hz for lowpass, adjustable with control 26.
Sets the operating mode of the amplifier (4-channel, 3-channel, 2-channel).
Activates full active mode, transmitting lowpass signals to channels C and D.
Adapt output level of channels C and D to channels A and B in full active mode (+/- 6 dB).
Total impedance should not be lower than 6 ohms; per channel minimum 1 ohm.
In bridged mode, each channel processes half the impedance. 2 ohms is lowest for bridged pairs.
