4.10 Glass plate
Removal and installation of the glass plate:
NOTE - Safety precautions:
Observe the safety instructions!
Check decontamination of the unit!
Removal:
1. Open the front window as wide as possible.
2. Switch the cabinet off using the Power/Function
Key switch; disconnect the two power supply ca-
bles from the mains supply and protect them
against accidental reconnection.
3. Separate the sealant in the joints around the win-
dow with a sharp, thin-bladed cutting tool.
4. Fig. 15: Remove the glass plate [1] from the inte-
rior of the cabinet.
Installation:
5. Thoroughly remove all sealant from the edges and
corners of the housing frame [2] and the metal
plate. Remove any grease from the contact sur-
face of the glass plate.
6. Apply a bead of sealant around the edges and
corners of the housing frame and the metal plate.
7. Insert the new glass plate by pushing it on. Make
sure the glass plate is positioned evenly in the
frame.
8. From the interior of the cabinet, seal the joints
around the glass plate with sealant.
NOTE - Unit commissioning:
Prior to the commissioning of the unit:
Perform test run!
Check safety devices for proper opera-
tion!
