CAUTION
!!
î Engine oil is a major factor affecting the
performance and service life of the engine.
Non-detergent, vegetable or castor based
racing oils are not recommended.
î Running the engine with insufficient oil can
cause serious engine damage.
î Running the engine with excessive oil can
cause spark plug fouling & loss in performance.
OIL FILTER SCREEN & CENTRIFUGAL
FILTER
î Drain the engine oil throughly.
î Remove the rider foot rest (1), kick starter
pedal (2), muffler disconnect the clutch
cable (3). Remove the right crankcase
cover (4).
î Remove the oil filter screen (5) and wash it
in clean non flammable or high flash point
solvent (kerosene).
î Remove gasket and dowel pin.

î Make sure that oil level is at the “UPPER”
level mark of the oil level dipstick with the
vehicle in an upright position and that there
are no oil leaks.
î Fill the crankcase through the filler hole
with approximately 1.0 litres of the
recommended grade oil (When right
crankcase cover is not removed).
î Start the engine and allow it to idle for few
minutes.
î After the oil has completely drained,
reinstall the drain plug with a new sealing
washer (2).
î Reinstall the oil level dipstick with a new
O-ring.
î Stop the engine and let the engine oil settle
down.
î Recheck the oil level.
î To drain the oil, remove the oil level dipstick
and drain bolt (1).
