Why does my Hilti SID 2-A get so hot?
- MmargaretfrederickJul 26, 2025
If your Hilti Power Screwdriver or its battery becomes very warm, there could be an electrical fault or the tool might be overloaded. Immediately switch off the power tool, remove the battery, keep it under observation, and allow it to cool down. If the tool is overloaded, select a suitable power tool for the application. If there is an electrical fault, contact Hilti Service.
