Version 2.4 04/07
Different OZD Profi 12M … malfunction reports are pro-
vided as an accumulative signal via a signaling contact
(relay with unconnected contacts) for further processing.
The mechanical design consists of a compact, stable
metal housing which can be mounted on a hat rail or
mounting plate as required.
The module is configured using easily accessible
switches.
The OZD Profi 12M … complies with the standard
EN 50170 and the technical guidelines issued by the
PROFIBUS user organization, PNO, ”PROFIBUS optical
transmission technology“.
OZD Profi 12M G12 and OZD Profi 12M G12-EEC have
the same function. They only differ in the specification
of the climatic ambient conditions: while the OZD Profi
12M G12 is suitable for employment in the standard
temperature range from 0°C to 60°C, the OZD Profi
12M G12-EECC (extended environmental conditions)
can be used in the extended temperature range from –
20°C to +60°C and at up to 100% humidity.
