What to do if my Hisense Refrigerator is not working correctly?
    • S
      Sonya MccormickAug 15, 2025
First, ensure the power cord is properly plugged into the outlet. Then, check the fuse or circuit of your power supply and replace it if needed. If the ambient temperature is too low, try setting the chamber temperature to a colder level. Also, the freezer may not operate during the automatic defrost cycle, or shortly after being switched on, to protect the compressor, which is normal.

      Douglas MarshallAug 18, 2025
The temperature inside the refrigerator might be too warm if the doors have been left open too long or too frequently, or if something is preventing the doors from closing properly. Insufficient clearance at the sides, back, and top of the appliance can also cause this issue.

Check that the water line is connected and the water valve is open. Also, ensure the water line hasn't been crushed or kinked, and that it's free of any obstructions. If the water tank is frozen because the refrigerator temperature is too low, select a warmer setting on the display panel. Lastly, make sure the filter is properly installed.

Check if the water pan (located at the rear bottom) is properly leveled. Also, ensure the draining spout underneath the top of the compressor depot is correctly positioned to direct water into the pan. The water spout might also be blocked. Ensure the water is fully inserted into the connector. You may need to pull the refrigerator away from the wall to check these components.

      Joshua RuizAug 30, 2025
Check if you waited 10 hours after installing the water supply line before making ice. It may take longer to make ice when first installed. Ensure the water line is connected and the water valve is open. Verify that you haven't manually stopped the ice-making function and that you've selected Cubed or Crushed mode. Also, check for any ice blocked within the ice maker bucket or ice chute, and ensure the freezer temperature isn't too warm.

Why is my Hisense Refrigerator making noise?
    • T
      Tammy HawkinsSep 2, 2025
Some noises are normal, such as the compressor running, air movement from the fan motor, gurgling sounds like water boiling, popping during defrosting, and clicking before the compressor starts. Unusual noises may be due to the cabinet not being level, the back of the appliance touching the wall, or bottles/containers knocking together. Check these issues and take action as needed.
