What to do if my Hisense Refrigerator is not working correctly?

  First, check whether the power cord is properly plugged into the power outlet. Then, inspect the fuse or circuit of your power supply, and replace if necessary. If the ambient temperature is too low, try setting the chamber temperature to a colder level. Also, the freezer may not operate during the automatic defrost cycle, or for a short time after being switched on, which is normal to protect the compressor.

Why is water dripping on the floor from my Hisense RS818N4TIC?

  The water pan, located at the rear bottom of the cabinet, may not be properly leveled. Also, the draining spout underneath the top of the compressor depot may not be correctly positioned to direct water into the pan, or the spout could be blocked. You may need to pull the refrigerator away from the wall to check the pan and spout. Another reason could be that the refrigerator was powered off for a long time, causing ice in the bucket to melt.

  The water storage box might not be installed accurately. Ensure there is enough water in the water storage box. Check if you manually stopped the ice-making function, and make sure you have set the Cubed or Crushed mode on. See if any ice is blocked within the ice maker bucket or ice chute, and ensure the freezer temperature isn't too warm by setting it lower. Also, wait for 10 hours after installation of the water supply line before making ice.

  Some noises are normal, such as compressor running noises, air movement noise from the fan motor, gurgling sounds similar to water boiling, popping during defrosting, and clicking before the compressor starts. Unusual noises may occur if the cabinet is not level, the back of the appliance touches the wall, or bottles/containers are knocking against each other.

  Ensure there is enough water in the water storage box and that it is installed accurately. Also, make sure the water line is unblocked and clear of any obstruction. If the water storage box is frozen due to a low refrigerator temperature, try selecting a warmer setting on the display panel. Check if the water pump is working.

  It's normal to frequently hear the motor running, especially if the temperature setting is set colder than necessary. Other reasons could be a large quantity of warm food recently stored, a high ambient temperature, doors kept open too long or too often, or just after installing the appliance or switching it on after a long period.

  The LED light may be damaged. Refer to replace LED lights in cleaning and care chapter. Also, the control system may have disabled the lights because the door was kept open too long; try closing and reopening the door to reactivate the lights.
