SECTION 3 − OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
3-1. Helmet Controls − XFS Model
Expose the solar cell to
bright sunlight for 30 minutes
before using welding helmet.
The XFS model uses a
non-replaceable Lithium
battery.
The XFS model has no On
button. The helmet turns on
automatically.

The XVS model uses two
AAA Alkaline batteries.
Press the On button to turn
on the XVS auto-darkening
lens. The lens turns off auto-
matically (clear state − No. 4)
15−20 minutes after the last
arc.
