If the battery is weak, replace or recharge it, verifying it can make the plug glow red hot. A faulty glow plug could also be the culprit, so consider replacing it. Additionally, ensure the engine is properly primed and not flooded with fuel. If flooded, fully close the needle valve, start the engine until it stops, then reset the valve and try again.
