• Airthoroughlywithfullyopeneddoorsandwindowssever-
altimesaday.
• Iftheoutsidetemperatureisunder8°C,wintercovers
shouldbemountedovertheventilationgrillesoftherefri-
gerator.
Beforeenteringthevehicle,removethesnowfromyour
clothesandshoestopreventanincreaseinhumidity.
The following applies for heating:
• Boththeairintakeaswellastheexhaustgasopeningsof
theheatingsystemmustbekeptfreeofsnowandice.
• Ittakeslongertoheatupthemotorhomeinwinter,
especiallytoheathotwater.
The following applies for your preparations:
• Checkthevehiclefordamagetothepaintworkorfrom
rustand,ifnecessary,repairit.
• Ensurethatwatercannotrunintotheventilationandde-
aeratingandheatingsystems.
• Useawax-basedprotectiveagenttoprotectthemetal
partsoftheundercarriageagainstrust.
• Preservevarnishedexternalsurfaceswithsuitableagents.
• Fillthepetroltankwithwinterdiesel;checktheantifreezer
inthewindshieldcleaningunitandthecoolant.
IDuringoperationinwinter,condensationiscausedwhen
usingthecamperinlowtemperatures.Sufcientventilationis
extremelyimportanttoensurethatthequalityoftheairinside
thecamperisgoodandtoavoiddamagestothevehicle
causedbycondensation.
