164 Driving and operating
Cleaning
The lens requires regular cleaning to
ensure optimum performance.
Use only a soft cloth, mild soap and
water.
Warning
Do not use abrasive cleaners
or scouring pads as they could
scratch the lens, impairing the
systems performance.
Always keep the camera lens
free from dirt, snow or ice. Only
use mild soap and water with a
soft cloth to clean the lens.
If the system does not operate
properly
The rear view camera may not
operate properly or display a clear
image if:
The rear view camera or the
guidelines are turned off.
Settings 0 132
It is dark.
The sun or headlight beams are
shining directly into the camera
lens.
Ice, snow, mud, or anything else
covers the camera lens.
There are extreme temperature
changes.
The rear of the vehicle is
damaged. The position and
mounting angle of the camera
can change or the camera can
be affected. Have the camera
and its position and mounting
angle checked at a Holden
Dealer.
When an object is detected, three
beeps sound from the left or right
side, depending on the direction of
the detected vehicle.
Note
The PA and RCTA symbols appear
and may cover an object when
viewing the infotainment screen
when an object is detected by the PA
or RCTA system.
RCTA can be turned on or off.
