Fast forward/fast reverse
To move rapidly backwards or
forwards within the current chapter:
1. Caprice V-Series: Press
l (55)
or
k (54) on the DVD player
controls or touch
r or [.
Caprice: Press
r (43) or [
(44) on the DVD remote control,
or press â—„ or â–º (18) on the
DVD player controls.
Pressing the same buttons
repeatedly will increase the
speed in t he order of 2x > 4x >
8x > 16x > back to normal
speed.
2. Caprice: To resume playback at
normal speed, press the same
button repeatedly until playback
speed returns to normal,
or press â–º (22) on the DVD
player controls or â–º (51) on the
DVD remote control.
Note: After fast forwarding to the
end of the current chapter, the next
chapter will play back at normal
speed.
After fast reversing to the beginning
of the current chapter, the current
chapter will play back at normal
speed.
Slow forward/slow reverse
To move slowly backwards o r
forwards within the current chapter:
1. Press â—„l(36)orlâ–º (35) on the
DVD remote co ntrol.
Pressing the same button
repeatedly will reduce the speed
in the order of 1/8x > 1/4x > 1/2x
> back to normal speed.
2. To resume playback at normal
speed, press â—„l(36)orlâ–º (35)
repeatedly until playback speed
returns to normal, or press â–º
(22) on the DVD player controls
or â–º (51) on the DVD remote
control.
Note: The slow reverse function is
available in DVD mode only,
whereas slow forward is available in
both DVD and VCD modes.
Zoom the VCD/DVD playback
picture
This function is only available in
DVD and VCD playback modes.
To select different zoom ratios,
press ZOOM (33) on the DVD
remote control once or several
times.
The zoom ratio will change in the
order of 1.5x > 2x > 3x > back to
normal.
