Switching traffi c avoidance on/off
1. Press NAV.
2. Touch the Nav confi g tab.
3. Touch Traffi c management
settings.
4. Touch either Auto or Manual to
switch traffi c avoidance on.
Alternatively, touch Off to switch
traffi c avoidance off.
The option selected is indicated
by
.
5. Touch Back to save the settings
and return to the previous
screen.
Note
When traffi c avoidance is off, the
RDS-TMC settings are disabled.
Radio Data System - Traffi c
Message Channel (RDS-TMC)
When traffi c avoidance is on,
information about traffi c on the
selected route is displayed.
The RDS-TMC stations provide
information relating to:
• Roadworks
• Dangerous vehicles
• Poor visibility etc
Select/deselect the required options
via the TMC fi lter under the tab
Traffi c - TMC messages.
RDS-TMC modes
• Automatic: The navigation
system automatically selects the
best TMC station available.
• Preferred: Select a preferred
TMC station from a list of
available TMC stations.
Changing the RDS-TMC settings

4. Touch either Automatic or
Preferred.
