GENERAL OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Slow the engine to idle.
2. Engage PTO.
3. Increase throttle to 550 RPM.
4. The chute should be angled to direct the snow to a safe and acceptable location.
5. Do not operate the snow blower if pedestrians are approaching from the front.
6. Do not put your hands or feet near the opening of the snow blower or other moving parts.
7. Do not wear loose clothing when operating the equipment.
8. Do not attempt to clear the auger or chute when the PTO is engaged.
9. Keep clear of the discharge opening while PTO is engaged.
10. Use extreme caution when operating on gravel surfaces as the snow blower may dig into the
gravel and cause the whole tractor to swerve or stop suddenly as well as throwing gravel.
11. Should the blower begin to vibrate abnormally, stop immediately and check for problems such as
material wound around the auger.
12. Never operate the snow blower without ensuring that the cutting edge is securely attached and
protecting the auger body.
13. Protect yourself by wearing all necessary safety equipment such as safety glasses and earplugs or
earmuffs.
OPERATING TIPS
Always engage the PTO at Idle speed, and then bring the rpm to its proper operating speed.
o Maximum of 540 PTO rpm.
Always disengage PTO when tractor engine is at Idle.
Always blow snow away from pedestrians, vehicles, steps etc...
