Overview

This document is a user and care guide for the Junedale 52-inch ceiling fan, manufactured by Home Decorators Collection. The fan is identified by Item #1005 805 992, Model #52188, and UL Model #52-JUNE.

Function Description:

The Junedale 52-inch ceiling fan is designed to provide air circulation and illumination for residential spaces. It features a reversible motor for both warm and cool weather operation. In warm weather (forward mode), the fan creates a downward airflow for a cooling effect, allowing the air conditioner to be set at a higher temperature. In cool weather (reverse mode), an upward airflow moves warm air off the ceiling, enabling the heating unit to be set at a lower temperature. The fan includes a light kit with adjustable correlated color temperature (CCT) options. It is operated via a remote control, which allows for power on/off, fan speed adjustment, light on/off/dimming, and CCT changing.

Maintenance Features:

  • Regular Checks: Support connections, brackets, and blade attachments should be checked and retightened twice a year.
  • Cleaning:
    • Ensure power is off before cleaning.
    • Use a soft brush or lint-free cloth to avoid scratching the finish.
    • Do not use water for cleaning to prevent damage to the motor or electrical shock.
    • A light coat of furniture polish can be applied to wood parts for protection and beauty.
    • Small scratches can be covered with shoe polish.
  • Lubrication: The motor has permanently-lubricated sealed ball bearings and does not require oiling.
  • Troubleshooting Guide: Provides solutions for common issues such as the fan not starting, noisy operation, and wobbling.
    • Fan Not Starting: Check fuses/breakers, remote control battery, wire connections, and dip switch settings.

    • Fan Wobbles: Ensure all blade and blade arm screws are secure. Check blade levels for equality (deviation should be within 1/8 inch). A balancing kit can be sent if wobbling persists after 10 minutes of operation.
  • Battery Replacement: The remote control battery (23A 12V) should be replaced when it weakens to prevent leakage and damage to the remote control. Dispose of used batteries properly.

Servicing by unauthorized persons voids the warranty.
  • Disclaimer: Disclaims all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, to the extent permitted by law. Some states may not allow limitations on implied warranties or exclusions of incidental/consequential damages.
