Ŷ Remove the air filter and clean it with warm soapy
water.
Ŷ Rinse, and let the air filter dry completely.
Ŷ Work two drops of lubricant into the air filter.
Ŷ Replace the air filter (fits only one way).
Ŷ Replace the air filter cover.

FUEL CAP
WARNING
A leaking fuel cap is a fire hazard and must be
replaced immediately.
SPARKING PLUG (Fig. 9)
This engine uses a Champion RCJ-6Y or equivalent
spark plug with 0,63 mm electrode gap. Use an exact
replacement and replace annually.
IDLE SPEED ADJUSTMENT
If the cutting attachment turns at idle, the idle speed
screw needs adjusting on the engine, contact a service
dealer for adjustment and discontinue use until the repair
is made.
STORAGE (1 MONTH OR LONGER)
Ŷ Drain all fuel from tank into a container approved
for fuel. Run engine until it stops.
Ŷ Clean all foreign material from the trimmer. Store it in
a well-ventilated place that is inaccessible to children.
Keep away from corrosive agents such as garden
chemicals and de-icing salts.
Ŷ Abide by all ISO and local regulations for the safe
storage and handling of fuel. Excess fuel should be
used up in other 2-stroke engine powered equipment.
