5. STARTING THE ENGINE
Recoil starting
If the electric starting system will not start the engine. The engine can be started
using the recoil starter.

1. Move the control lever to the N
(neutral)
(neutral) position.
2.Turn the ignition key to the ON
position. Engage the emergency
stop switch clip, located at one end
of the emergency stop switch
lanyard, with emergency engine
stop switch 1.
3. Engage an emergency stop switch
clip with emergency engine stop
switch 2.
