1)
Remove the spark plug, attach
it
to the spark plug cap, and
ground the side electrode against the cylinder head cover
bolt.
2)
Move the ignition switch lever to the
ON
position, pull the
recoil starter and check to see if sparks jump across the
electrodes.
Abnormal
Replace transistorized ignition

coil
If ignited, gasoline can burn you severely.
Be sure there
is
no spilled fuel near the engine.
Place the spark plug away from the spark plug hole.
