7. MAINTENANCE
l Shut off the engine and set the parking brake’before performing any
maintenance.
l To prevent accidental start-up, remove the engine switch key and
disconnect the spark plug caps.
l The lawn tractor sh,ould be serviced by an authorized HONDA dealer
unless the owner has proper tools and. service data and feels he is
mechanically qualified.
CAUTION: Use only genuine Honda parts or their equivalent for
maintenance or repair. Replacement parts which are not of equivalent
quality may damage the tractor.
Periodic inspection and adjustment of the Honda HT4213 is essential if
high level performance is to be maintained..Regular maintenance will also
ensure a long service life. The required service intervals and the kind of
maintenance to be performed are described on the following page.
