bearing
inserts.
CAUTION:
After
selecting
new
bearings, recheck
the
oil
clear-
ance
with
plastigauge. Incorrect
oil
clearance can
cause
major
engine damage.
BEARING INSTALLATION
Clean the bearing
outer
surfaces, bearing cap and
connecting rod.
Install the crankpin bearing inserts
onto
the bearing
cap and connecting rod,
aligning each tab
with
each groove.
