Removing your old thermostat

Installing your RTH5160 thermostat

Set R-switch position and insert R-wire(s)

Configure the R-switch and connect the R-wire(s) to the UWP terminals.

Connect remaining wires

Insert the remaining wires into their corresponding terminals on the UWP.

Mount the UWP and close the door

Securely mount the UWP to the wall using provided screws and close the cover.

Install batteries

Insert two AA alkaline batteries into the back of the thermostat.

Attach your thermostat

Align and snap the thermostat onto the installed UWP.
