TCAS I Introduction
TCAS:
• Is compatible with the ATC System
• Determines if a threat exists from ATCRBS or Mode S Transponder
equipped aircraft
• Provides display and audio announcement to the crew
- Position information displayed on a traffic display
- Synthesized voice
