Why is my Honeywell CT500 Thermostat heating/cooling equipment not operating?
    • S
      shannon36Jul 29, 2025
If your heating or cooling equipment isn't working, first ensure the thermostat has power by checking the On/Off switch, fuse or circuit breaker, and the 24V connections at both the thermostat and the furnace/air conditioner. Also, verify the wiring is correct. If the issue persists, consult your equipment manufacturer's instructions. Make sure that the System switch on the thermostat is correctly set. Also, the thermostat may have minimum-off times operating for cooling, so wait five minutes.
