CV41 Vehicle Mount Computer (Windows CE) User Guide 63
Activate CDMA Communications
To activate the CDMA radio module in your computer, you need to contact your wireless
carrier and set up an account for each computer. The following table lists the carriers
that Honeywell currently supports. If your carrier is not listed in the table, please con-
tact Honeywell product support to see if it is now supported.
The carrier requires the Mobile Equipment Identifier (MEID) to start the activation pro-
cess. You can find the MEID:
• in the Gobi Connection Manager menu. Tap Start > Settings > Control Panel > Gobi
Connection Manager > CDMA tab.
After you supply the MEID to your carrier, the carrier responds with values that you must
enter in the Gobi Connection Manager (if required). Your carrier sales contact and a
Honeywell representative can guide you through the process.
