If your Honeywell Barcode Reader shows no LEDs, emits no beep, and has no visible laser, it means that no power is being supplied to the scanner. Ensure the cable is properly plugged into the host. Also, check the host system’s power cable, the outlet, and any power strips. Another possible cause is that the USB port is not supplying enough power. The IS4225 requests 100mA from the USB port. If the USB port cannot supply this, a notification window will appear on the screen.
