8. Remove the downrod clip and downrod pin from
the downrod (Fig. 8).

9. Feed the wires from the motor assembly through
the yoke cover, canopy, and out the top of the
downrod (Fig. 9).
7. Partially loosen the set screws in the yoke of the
motor assembly (Fig. 7).
