Outdoor
temperature not
displayed or is
incorrect.
Outdoor temperature setting is not
enabled in Installer Setup.
Outdoor sensor is not connected,
is connected incorrectly or is out-
of-range.
Outdoor sensor is configured at
more than one thermostat zone
location.
Filter expired.
Install one C7089B Outdoor Temperature Sensor to OT
terminals on one thermostat in the system and configure
Installer Setup No. 45 to 1, see Table 6, only at the zone
where the outdoor sensor is connected.
If the outdoor sensor is not connected or is out-of-range
(below –40°F or above 120°F) “- -” is displayed on the
thermostat where the outdoor sensor is located. All other
thermostats do not display an outdoor temperature until the
sensor is in range or connected correctly.
Outdoor temperature alternates between displaying
outdoor temperature and “- -” . Configure only the
thermostat where the outdoor sensor is connected.
Press key twice for outdoor temperature when filter
expiration displays. Refer to the Filter Indication section.
Heat or cool turns
on before
programmed time.
Adaptive Intelligent Recovery™ is
on.
Adaptive Intelligent Recovery™ brings on the heat or cool
early to meet the temperature set for the programmed
period. To disable Adaptive Intelligent Recovery™,
configure Installer Setup No. 13 to 1, see Table 6.
