Ensure cleaner is used only for its intended purpose and with recommended attachments. Keep it upright and away from wet surfaces or flammable materials.
Do not run over the power cord. Stop using immediately if the cord is damaged. Professional repair is essential to avoid hazards.

Slide the knob to position best suited to carpet pile depth or for hard floors to optimize cleaning performance.
Place the cleaner against the bottom step facing the stairs. ALWAYS work with the cleaner below you.
Press bin release buttons, remove dustbin, hold over bin, press empty button; door opens. Gently tap for excess dust.
For allergy sufferers: wrap bin in plastic, close tightly, press empty button, bag and dispose of quickly.
Remove filter pack, wash pad under warm water, squeeze to clean, remove excess water, and dry for 24 hours.
