Function Description:

The vacuum cleaner operates as a bagless system, collecting dust and debris in a removable dust bin. Its multi-cyclonic technology helps maintain consistent suction power by separating dust particles from the airflow. The deep cleaning turbo head is particularly effective for pet hair removal on carpets and rugs, utilizing a rotating brush for enhanced cleaning performance. The cleaner also includes a combination floor tool that can switch between carpet and hard floor cleaning modes, offering versatility for different surfaces. For hard-to-reach areas and delicate surfaces, specialized accessories like a crevice tool and dusting brush are provided. Usage Features:

• Assembly: The flexible hose inserts into the vacuum's inlet with a click. The handle connects to the telescopic tube, and the telescopic tube then attaches to the turbo head or combination floor head, locking into place.
• Operation: The vacuum is switched on/off using a dedicated button. The power cable extends to a yellow mark, indicating the ideal length, and should not be extended further. A cable rewind button allows for convenient retraction of the power cord, with a recommendation to guide the cable to prevent whipping.
• Accessories:
  • Turbo Head (14): Designed for deep cleaning and pet hair removal on carpets and rugs. Users must keep hair, hands, and feet away from the rotating brush during operation and avoid servicing or unclogging while the unit is running.

Maintenance Features:

• Storage: Disconnect from power and fully retract the cable when not in use.
• Emptying the Dust Bin:
  1. Press the Dust Bin Release Button to remove the dust bin from the cleaner.
  2. Hold the dust bin over a rubbish bin and press the Dust Release Button to empty.
  3. Turn the dust bin lid anti-clockwise to open.
  4. Turn the filter cone anti-clockwise to clean.
  5. The dust bin should be emptied before debris reaches the "MAX" line.
• Cleaning and Replacing the Pre-Motor Filter:
  1. Turn the dust bin lid to access the Pre-Motor filter.
  2. The filter can be cleaned with lukewarm water or replaced.
  3. Ensure the filter is completely dry before reinstalling.
  4. It is recommended to replace the filter every 6 months or when visibly dirty.
• Cleaning and Replacing the Exhaust HEPA Filter:
  1. The exhaust HEPA filter is located behind the exhaust grill and is washable.
  2. Wash with lukewarm water or replace when dust or dirt is visible to maintain efficient suction.
  3. It is recommended to replace the HEPA filter every 6 months or when visibly dirty.
• Troubleshooting: A guide is provided for common issues like the motor not starting (check power, cable, switch, plug, socket) and decreased suction/overheating (clean/replace filters, remove blockages).

Warranty:

The Hoover Paws & Claws 3016 comes with a 1-year warranty for domestic use, covering product defects and failures when used according to the terms and conditions. The warranty is provided by Electrical Home-Aids Pty Limited and commences from the original purchase date. Proof of purchase is required for claims. The warranty is valid only in the country of purchase. Misuse, failure to follow instructions, or use for industrial purposes will void the warranty.
