The trap rollers must not rest on the ground. Disassemble the trap rollers, the ma-
chine can then rest on the coulter discs.

8.1.5 Press rollers
With their V-shaped arrangement the press rollers close the seed furrow and press
the soil against the seed.
With the adjustment lever the consolidation effect of the press rollers can be
matched to soil conditions and drilling depth.

Danger of injury caused by rotating press rollers
Ø Do not step on the rotating press rollers.
Adjusting the
consolidation
1. Slightly lift the machine.
2. Pull the adjustment lever back out of the locking gate and engage it in the
new position.
NOTE
Adjusting the lever toward the rear increases the consolidation in four levels from 8
to 55kg.
Ø Set the spring pre-tension equally on all drill units.
