Care and cleaning of the range.
Oven Heating Elements
Donot clean the bakeelement or the broil
element.Any soil will burn off when the
elementsare heated.
Tocleanthe oven floor,gently lift the bake
element. Cleanwith warm soapy water.
Onsome models, the bakeelement isnot
exposedand is under the oven floor.If
spillovers,residue or ash accumulate on the
ovenfloor, wipe up beforeself-cleaning.
OvenRacks
Cleanthe oven rackswith an abrasive
cleanser or scouring pad.After cleaning,
rinsethe rackswith clean water and dry with
a clean cloth.
NOTE:Takethe racks out ofthe oven before
you begin the self-cleancycle or they may
discolor.
To make the rocksslide more easily,apply a
small amount of vegetable oil or cooking oil
to a paper towel and wipe the edges of the
oven rackswith the paper towel.

Oven Light Replacement (onsome models)
A CAUTION:Beforereplacing
your oven light bulb,turn the ovenlight off
and disconnectthe electricalpower to the
range at themain fuseor circuitbreaker
panel.
Besure to letthe light cover and bulb cool
completely.
Toremove the cover:

Holda hand under the cover so itdoesn't
fall when released.With fingers of the
same hand,firmly push back the wire
cover holder. Liftoff the cover.
Do not remove anyscrews to remove
the cover.
[] Replacebulb with a 40-watt household
appliance bulb.
To replace the coven
[Z] Place it into groove of the light
receptacle. Pullwire forward to the
center of the cover until it snaps
into place.
r_ Connect electricalpower to the range.
Storage Drawer Removal (onsome models)
Toremove the storage drawer: Toreplace the storage drawer:
_-_ Puiithe drawer out aii the way. [_ Insertglidesat the back of the drawer
beyondthe stop on range glides.
Tiltup the front and remove it. _ Liftthe drawer if necessaryto insert
easily.
I-_ Letthe front of the drawer down, then
push into close.
