How to fix a Hotsy 560SS pump motor that won't run?
    • T
      Thomas RoblesAug 18, 2025
If your Hotsy Pressure Washer pump motor isn't running, there could be several reasons: * The GFCI might have tripped. Reset and test the GFCI, following the instructions on the device. * There might be no voltage to the machine. Test the power supply and correct any issues. * The pump motor reset switch (thermal overload protector) may have tripped. Push the reset switch on the control box. If it trips again, check for proper voltage or a clogged pressure nozzle. * Excessive pressure due to a clogged pressure nozzle can also be the cause. Clean the pressure nozzle to resolve this.

      Tiffany GarciaAug 20, 2025
If no water sprays from the water nozzle of your Hotsy Pressure Washer, the nozzle might be completely clogged, so clean it. Also, check the inlet water screen and clean it if necessary. If the pump is sucking air, fill the detergent container and check for loose hose clamps or fittings.

Why is the spray pressure low on my Hotsy 560SS Pressure Washer?
    • D
      Danny DixonAug 23, 2025
Low spray pressure at the pressure nozzle of your Hotsy Pressure Washer can be due to: * A clogged inlet water screen. Check the screen and clean it if necessary. * An inadequate water supply. Fully open the faucet, check for kinks or damage in the hose, use a 5/8 inch minimum hose, and inspect for debris clogging the inlet screen. * A partially clogged or damaged pressure nozzle. Clean or replace the nozzle. * Air being drawn through the detergent inlet line. Refill the detergent container and ensure the pick-up screen is fully immersed.

Why isn't my Hotsy 560SS Pressure Washer producing hot water?
    • A
      Ashley RiveraAug 28, 2025
If your Hotsy Pressure Washer isn't producing hot water, consider these possibilities: * The burner switch may be in the OFF position. Place the switch in the ON position. * There might be an inadequate fuel supply. Refill the fuel tank, using only recommended fuels. * The pump switch could be turned off. The pump motor must be running before the burner will light. * An inadequate water supply can also prevent hot water production. Fully open the faucet, check for a kinked or damaged hose, use a 5/8 inch minimum hose, and check for debris clogging the inlet screen.

      Michelle JacksonAug 30, 2025
If the burner of your Hotsy Pressure Washer will not ignite when the trigger gun is open, replace the defective pressure switch. Ensure that the fuel tank is filled with the proper fuel and that the fuel valve on the fuel tank is open. Raise the thermostat setting if it's too low. Check the burner motor reset button and push it if tripped; if it trips, check for proper voltage. Clean the fuel filter if it's clogged.
