What to do if the Hotsy 895SS burner will not ignite when the trigger gun is open?
    • M
      Mr. Jesus LopezAug 8, 2025
If the burner won't ignite, the pressure switch might be defective, so replace it. Check if there's no fuel and fill the fuel tank with the proper fuel if needed. Ensure the fuel valve on the fuel tank is open. If the thermostat is set too low, raise the thermostat setting. Also, the burner motor reset button might be tripped, so push it and check for proper voltage. Lastly, a clogged fuel filter can cause this, so clean the fuel filter.

How to fix a Hotsy 895SS Pressure Washer when no water sprays from the water nozzle?
    • D
      David WilsonAug 13, 2025
If no water sprays from the nozzle, it could be completely clogged, so clean it. Another cause might be a clogged inlet water screen, so check and clean it if necessary. The pump could also be sucking air, so fill the detergent container and check for loose hose clamps or fittings.

Why won't my Hotsy 895SS pump motor run?
    • M
      Michael GoodAug 20, 2025
There are several reasons why the pump motor won't run. It could be due to a tripped GFCI, in which case you should reset and test the GFCI. Another cause might be no voltage to the machine, so test the power supply. Also, the pump motor reset button might be tripped, so push the reset button on the control box, and check for proper voltage or a clogged water nozzle. Finally, excessive pressure from a clogged water nozzle can cause this issue, so clean the water nozzle.

What to do if my Hotsy Pressure Washer has low pressure from the water nozzle?
    • C
      Carol JohnsonAug 26, 2025
If you're experiencing low pressure, the inlet water screen might be clogged, so check and clean it. The water nozzle could be worn or the incorrect size, so replace it with the proper size. Also, ensure that the water supply isn't low, and correct it if it is. Finally, the pump might be sucking air, so fill the detergent container and check for loose hose clamps or fittings.

What to do if my Hotsy 895SS Pressure Washer has poor or no detergent flow?
    • A
      Abigail WoodwardSep 1, 2025
If you're experiencing poor or no detergent flow, make sure the detergent level isn't low by filling the detergent container. The detergent screen might be clogged, so clean it. Also, check that the detergent valve is opening and that the handle or knob isn't slipping on the shaft. A clogged water nozzle can also cause this, so clean the water nozzle. Finally, excessive inlet pressure (more than 80 PSI) can be the cause, so install a pressure regulator on the inlet line.
