Inverse
Assembly
The
HP
10342B
is
supplied
with
a
3-1/2
inch
disc
inverse
assembler
.
The
inverse
assembler
converts
the data
and
status
into
standard
text
for
easy
interpretation
.
In
the
HP-IB
mode,
all
data,
handshake,
and
status
lines
are
monitored
and
states
displayed
.
For
RS-232C/V
.24
and
RS-449,
data
and
five
handshake
lines
are
monitored
and
displayed
.
Four
of the
handshake
lines
are
synchronous
with
the
serial
controller
.
The
fifth,
the
carrier detect,
is
asynchronous
and
is
sampled
each
time
a
character
is
sent to the
analyzer
.
Labels
and
logic
analyzer
configurations
are
also
provided with
the
inverse
assembler
.
This
simplifies
operation
so
you
spend
your
time
making
measurements
rather
than
manually
configuring
the
analyzer
.
