Battery (3-cell, 48 Whr, 4.212 Ahr) L11119-855
Before removing the battery, follow these steps:
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (Preparation for disassembly on page 26).
2. Remove the bottom cover (see Bottom cover on page 27).
Remove the battery:
1. Remove the ve Phillips M2.0 × 3.0 screws (1) that secure the battery to the computer.
2. Remove the battery from the computer (2).
Reverse this procedure to install the battery.
When installing the battery, be sure to install screws in the proper locations. The following image shows the
locations around the battery that have holes but do NOT require screws.
