This Hewlett-Packard

is warranted against defects in materials and
workmanship for

year
from
the date of shipment,
except that
in the
case
of
certain components,
if any, listed in Section I of this operating
manual, the warranty shall be for the specified
period.
Hewlett-Packard
will,
at
its option, repair or replace
products
which
prove
to be defective during the
warranty
period
provided
they are
returned
to Hewlett-Packard, and
provided
the
proper
preventive
maintenance
procedures
as
listed
in
this
manual arc
followed. Repairs necessitated by misuse of the
product
are not covered by this
warranty.
