Procedure.
Readings
а. Connect equipment as shown in Figure 5-1 Min Act Max
(omit 355D from setup).

b. Set 415E to NORM, 0 db, HIGH, and ON with каре айкын
GAIN, VERNIER, FREQ, and BANDWIDTH controls - 4 (Low) -7.5 db
full clockwise. М =
с. Set 355C to 0 db and tune Oscillator to peak
415E.
d. AdjustOscillator output for 1. 0 volts RMS AC
Voltmeter reading.
e. Adjust 415E GAIN for 0 db meter reading and
remove connections from 415E.
f. Connect special 5000 ohm feed-thru termina-
tion to INPUT (See Procedure 6 of this table).
є. Set 415E RANGE-DB to60. The average noise
level indicated by meter pointer should be at least
1.5 db down from 0 on the 0 to 10 db scale.
h. Switch INPUT to LOW and repeat steps b and
c above.
i. Adjust Oscillator output for 0. 15 volt RMS AC
Voltmeter reading.
j. Adjust 415E GAIN for 0 db meter reading and
remove connections to 415Е.
k. Connect Model 10100B Feed- Thru Termination
