Most

needed

harmonics

To
measure
200
MHz
accurately
set

a
counter
reading
around
10,000
kHz.
If
a
200
MHz
converter
frequency
was
used
and
a
reading
of
100
Hz
obtained,
the
signal
could
be
either
100
Hz
above
or
below
200
MHz.
When

converter

is
used
this
ambiguity
does
not
exist.
Odd
band-edge
frequencies
which
are
not
exact
multiples

are

in

together

corresponding
counter
readings.
For
greater
accuracy
use
an
external
fre
quency
standard
with
the
electronic
counter.
In
Figures
4
and
5
adjust
the
attenuator
in
the
line
going
to
the
MIXER
OUTPUT
jack
for
best
frequency
meter
absorption
notch
in
the
oscilloscope
presentation.
For
greater
accuracy
an
external
standard
may
be
used
with
the
electronic
counter.
