Paragraph 25, add:
Frequencies are measured at the transfer oscillator frequency but the 20th harmonic
is what is actually used. Most frequencies needed are harmonics of 200 MHz. To
measure 200 MHz accurately set the converter to 190 MHz, giving you a counter
reading around 10,000 kHz. If a 200 MHz converter frequency was used and a reading
of 100 Hz obtained, the signal could be either 100 Hz above or below 200 MHz. When
a converter frequency of 190 MHz is used this ambiguity does not exist. Odd band-edge
frequencies which are not exact multiples of 200 MHz are listed in Table 4 together
with the corresponding counter readings. For greater accuracy use an external fre
quency standard with the electronic counter.
In Figures 4 and 5 adjust the attenuator in the line going to the MIXER OUTPUT jack
for best frequency meter absorption notch in the oscilloscope presentation. For greater
accuracy an external standard may be used with the electronic counter.

Page 6, Paragraph (27)d, add:
After the beat signal has been checked, rotate 532A #1 so that its absorption notch is
outside the frequency band of interest to avoid interaction.
Add at end of Operating Note.
Since this operating note was published a procedure for calibrating K and R band Model
532A's has become available. Add the following to the end of the operating note-
To test K and R band Model 532A's proceed as follows:
a. With Microwave Amplifier set for minimum output (GAIN control fully
counterclockwise), set up equipment as shown in Figure 6.
b. Turn on equipment and allow 1/2 hour warmup.
c. Set Sweep Oscillator for leveled, delta frequency, auto sweep operation at the
following frequency:
