characteristics

allows
connection
of
8756A
compatible
detectors
and/or
bridges.

typically
used
for
the
connection
of
a
re-
flectometer
bridge
for
reflection
measurements.

typically
used
for
the
connection
of
a
detector
for
transmission
measurements.

is
typically
used
for
the
reference
detector
input
when
making
ratio
measurements.

KEYS.
These
keys
provide
for
additional
functions
of
the
8756A
beyond
that
of
the
Front
Panel
keys
discussed
above.
Related
functions
are
grouped
into
a
soft
key
menu.
A
particular
function
on
the
menu
dis-
played
in
the
SOFT
KEY
LABEL
area
is
selected
by
pressing
the
key
to
the
immediate
right
of
the
label.
The
MAIN
MENU
key
displays
and
restores
the
MAIN
MENU
to
the
SOFT
KEY
LABEL
area.
