When
CURSOR
is
selected
on
the
MAIN
MENU,
the
CRT
will
appear
as
shown
in
(a),
with
the
CURSOR
(+
symbol)
turned
ON.

CURSOR
ON/OFF
alternately
turns
the
CURSOR
ON,
as
shown
in
(a),
and
OFF,
as
shown
in
(c).
When ON,
the
CURSOR
appears
on
any
of
the
active
data
traces.
The
Knob
is
used
to
move
the
CURSOR
to
any
point
on
the
data
traces.
The
amplitude
of
the
measurement
for
a
selected
channel
appears
in
the
upper
right
corner
of
the
MODE
LABEL,
and
also
appears
in
the
ACTIVE
ENTRY
AREA
for
the
Active
Channel.
This
amplitude
is
always
the
selected
MEASurement
and
DISPLAY
reading,
resolved
to
0.01
dB,
regardless
of
the
SCALE
per
division
or
REFerence
LEVEL
value.
If
either
the
8350B
Sweep
Oscillator
or
the
8340A
Synthesized
Sweeper
HP-IB
is
connected
to
the
8756
SYSTEM
INTERFACE,
the
CURSOR
frequency
value
appears
in
the
FREQUENCY
LABELS
and
also
in
the
ACTIVE
ENTRY
AREA
for
the
Active
Channel.
When
Alternate
Sweep
is
selected,
both
CURSOR
frequencies
will
appear
for
each
sweep
in
the
FREQUENCY
LABELS.
