shown

When ON,
the-rast
set
position
of
the
CURSOR
{regardless
of
whether
the
CURSOR
was
ON
or
OFF)
is
marked
by
the
/\
symbol.
Rotating
the
Knob
moves
the
CURSOR
{+
symbol),
and
the
amplitude
readings
in
the
MODE
LABELS
and
ACTIVE
ENTRY
AREA
are
now
relative
to
the
/\
symbol
position.
If
either
the
8350B
Sweep
Oscillator
or
the
8340A
Synthesized
Sweeper
HP-IB
is
connected
to
the
8756
SYSTEM
INTERFACE,
the
absolute
value
frequency
difference
between
the
/\
symbol
position
and
the
+
symbol
position
are
annotated-rn
the
FREQUENCY
LABELS
and
also
in
the
ACTIVE
ENTRY
AREA. When
Alternate
Sweep
is
selected,
both
CURSOR/\
frequencies
will
appear
for
each
sweep
in
the
FREQUENCY
LABELS.
CURSOR
MAX

positions
the
CURSOR

to
the
maximum
value
point
on
the
Channel
1
trace.
CURSOR
MIN

positions
the
CURSOR

minimum

Both
the
MAX
and
MIN
functions
may
be
used
with
either
CURSOR
or
CURSOR/\
selected.
